Kerry joins Inspire from Depaul Ireland, where she has been the Chief Executive for the past 12 years. Depaul Ireland is a cross-border charity supporting some of the most marginalised individuals, couples and families experiencing homelessness.
Professor Hugh McKenna Chair of the Inspire Board of Trustees said “Kerry has been successful in the appointment following a rigorous recruitment and selection process which involved important input from Inspire and Addiction NI service users. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise and we are delighted to welcome her to Inspire at this exciting stage in our development.”
Commenting on her appointment Ms Anthony said “I am delighted to have been appointed as Group Chief Executive of Inspire and look forward to working alongside the staff and volunteers to continue to drive forward Inspires vision of Wellbeing for all. I was particularly pleased that those who use the services of the organisation had input to my recruitment and I will work hard to continue to deliver better outcomes for, and with, them.
Inspire plays a pivotal role in the delivery of front line services across a range of areas including mental health, disability, autism and addiction. I am very much looking forward to bringing my experience to Inspire at this time and working with others to take the organisation forward into this next phase.”
Willie McAllister continues to lead Inspire as Interim CEO until Kerry takes up her post in August.
